We’re not making bolts or oatmeal or wire brushes here. We’re putting little bits of ourselves on the shelves for people to ogle over, pick up.
Hem and haw about the price.
Put down.
I’ll be the first to admit you don’t need painting or sculpture or a custom-made made corset or hat, a masterfully woven laundry basket or crafted chair. Mass-produced stuff from China will work okay for sitting and folding laundry.
But there’s still that thing–that Creative Thing.
Not content with mass-produced. Not content to not create.
And we know we can’t be all things to all people.
Certainly the Hippik look isn’t for everyone, but the classic equestrian style isn’t just for horse people, either.
We know it’s nothing personal. It’s just business.
But we’re creative types.
We made this out of stuff in our hearts and brains.
It’s our life work.
We often take it personally.
